There’s been a lot of great Star Wars related stuff this last week. For tonight, I’m just going to focus on some of the great Star Wars fan art that’s been buzzing around:

1. Star Wars Poster Art by Andy Helms. You can actually buy prints of these off his account. This is why I love digital art. It’s simple, yet awesome. Check out the images below to see what I mean.

2. Wookiee the Pooh!!! Now there’s an great mash up idea. Here’s a bunch of drawings by artist James Hance, showing Chewbacca as Winnie the Pooh. If you click the link you’ll also see some other cool looking non-Star Wars stuff (Snuffle the Cat! Ha!).

3. I saw this one off of The Jedi Comeback: An Evaluation of Character Triumph from”Empire Strikes Back” to “Return of the Jedi” by Chris Bishop. The Stylization is great, but where’s Lando???

4. Here’s another one I also read about (where do they find this stuff?), a new t-shirt available on TeeFury, titled “Robots in Disguise” by Simeon Wells. Again this is another great mash up idea. I also like this one because I think it reveals how we all really think of R2-D2. Sure they try making him look like some cute little robot, but you know he’s really an angry little bastard with a superiority complex, just quietly waiting for the opportunity to strike. Check it out.

Well, that’s all for this week. Hopefully next Wednesday I’ll find some more cool Star Wars stuff to post about.
