I just read this on Geekologie.com (who got this from Buzzfeed.com), that this is what Tyrannosaurus Rex may have looked like. Check out the full image below. I don’t know… to me he looks less terrifying and more… tastier? Kind of looks like a big tasty chicken. Maybe we should pull a “Jurassic Park” and start cloning these things. Not for any prehistoric zoo, but for the meat.
The illustration was done by Sammy Hall (couldn’t find a link to the artist’s website). Unfortunately, there wasn’t a link to any science articles or journals to show why scientist think T-Rex may of had feathers, or looked like how our favorite dinosaur was depicted in the illustration. I did a quick Google search and found this article on The American Museum of Natural History website, which says that yes, t-rex did have “a thin coat of feather like fibers.” Check out the image and let us know what you think.
