Here at Atomic moo Chudd’s the real life graphic designer who knows his shit about illustration, design, and typography. I mostly just hang around and let him buy the lunches. But, working with him on the site and other projects I’ve started to pick up an appreciation for good design and how elements should or shouldn’t be used. So, I liked it that Laughing Squid post an article about a new site called Comic Sans Criminal and brought it to my attention. This site does an excellent job of not only establishing when and when not Comic Sans should be used, but also passes along a few basic principals for communicating with type. Click the link and check it out if you want to learn more. Who knows, if this site is successful we might also get to see “Your a Papyrus Font Retard” sometime in the near future.
