Hey kids… I’m having a hell of night. I just spent seventy bucks on a “magic” mouse for my mac that doesn’t seem to be so magical. So, that’s something I’m going to have to deal with tomorrow. I guess I’ll just have to hang on to this old mouse until then. Anyhow, for those of you who visit the site regularly (I think there’s three of you now), you know that we’re trying out Entertainment Earth’s affiliate program. I mentioned this in a post I did a couple days ago, and I said “if we do come across something that we do find genuinely cool and interesting we will post about it.” Well, I just came across something. It’s limited edition Star Trek Original Series Geological Tricorder (I’m not sure what the difference is between a normal tricorder and a “geological” one is… maybe it’s just the vials of colored stuff?). I could see putting something like this on my shelf, or on my desk. Here are the details on it:
- Incredibly detailed Entertainment Earth Exclusive Star Trek Original Series Geological Tricorder and features the voice of Majel Barrett-Roddenberry as the computer.
- Includes lights, sounds, and an exclusive light-up screen.
- Comes complete with two ore sample containers and a planetary ore specimen!

Not only does the case open to reveal the detailed interior, but this deluxe version also includes a compartment with a removable pair of ore samples! This Tricorder includes 6 electronic phrases from the Enterprise’s computer systems that you won’t find anywhere else! They include:

Library Computer sounds
I think the planetary ore specimens are just chunks of colored plastic… I dunno, I could be wrong. Still, if I hadn’t of just spent $70.00 on a mouse (that doesn’t F#@KING WORK!), I would be really tempted to pick this up. Also, if you do decide to do pick this up through our links, you’ll be helping us out with Atomic Moo, so we can keep this site going and try to do bigger and better things. Check it out and let us know what you think.
