Some Geek Related Songs to Listen to While the World Ends

The End

Hey geeks! Well, it’s already after 9:30 and we’re not dead yet. Still, the day is young… we’ll see what happens. Until then I was thinking we should all have an appropriate play list for this day of our doom. After all, if we’re all going straight to eternal damnation (and you know we are… especially you 4chan and Deviant Art trolls), then why not go down rock’n? Right? So I’ve been thinking of some geek, and not-so-geek, related tunes for today (or for the next Judgement Day). This isn’t a top ten list, and these aren’t in any particular order of best or favorites. Just a list. Like the one you’re on… that says “Sinner” at the top. See you in hell mother f#ckers!

The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash

Don’t Open ‘Till Doomsday by The Misfits

It’s the End of the World As We Know It by R.E.M

Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire

Sorry, this is the best I could find for this one…

Surfn’ Dead by the Cramps

Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth

I like this more than I should. Especially the Johnny Cash and Oingo Boingo bits.

  2. Hey, what about Barry Manilow? Didn’t he have a death and destruction like end of the world song? Or was that Gwar? I always get their songs mixed up…

I wish I could respond appropriately, but your comment gave me a nosebleed. Off I go, to avoid staining my shirt.
