A Simpsons Channel?

via Geek Tyrant; according to a quote made by News Corp chief operating officer Chase Carey our favorite residents of Springfield may end up getting their very own channel…

Carey said there have been a “number of meetings” to determine how to capitalize on its library of episodes of The Simpsons and he mentioned a digital channel featuring nothing but Homer and the gang as being a possibility. Carey said it is incumbent on the company to take advantage of a show that is “unique in television with a volume too that is unprecedented.

The Simpsons will soon start their 23rd season and are fast approaching 500 episodes. 24/7 Simpsons, huh? Well, just give me a comfy recliner, a bowl of peanut M&M’s and a drip feed of Mr. Pibb ’cause I don’t think I’d ever turn flip channels again.

and finally, just to make this an extra special day, how about a little…

Spanish Flea!!!!

Have a great day everyone!
