Morning El Moochadors. I found a few nifty things on my reader this morning to pass along. Other than that not much to report as far as Atomic Moo goes. Hopefully tonight we’ll get another Moocast recorded, and also hopefully Trog will finish putting together the last two. I don’t know much about the editing software he’s using, but I’m pretty sure it’s a lot harder to use when your laying on the couch, and the computer is in the other room… I guess eventually it’ll get done.

Samuel L. Ipsum

Samuel L. Ipsum

Usually, I just use Lorem Ipsum for placeholder text, but I think I’m going to switch to this from now on. Some internet-mad-rocket-genius came up with the idea of Samuel L. Jackson placeholder text, or Samuel L. Ipsum. On the site is says his name is Paul Maloney. This guys deserves and award or something… or at least a plate of cookies. Check out some of the text is generated below:

Now that we know who you are, I know who I am. I’m not a mistake! It all makes sense! In a comic, you know how you can tell who the arch-villain’s going to be? He’s the exact opposite of the hero. And most times they’re friends, like you and me! I should’ve known way back when… You know why, David? Because of the kids. They called me Mr Glass.

Now that there is the Tec-9, a crappy spray gun from South Miami. This gun is advertised as the most popular gun in American crime. Do you believe that shit? It actually says that in the little book that comes with it: the most popular gun in American crime. Like they’re actually proud of that shit.

Well, the way they make shows is, they make one show. That show’s called a pilot. Then they show that show to the people who make shows, and on the strength of that one show they decide if they’re going to make more shows. Some pilots get picked and become television programs. Some don’t, become nothing. She starred in one of the ones that became nothing.

35 Minute Casey Jones Fan Film

I remember not too long ago posting the trailer for this, which I’ll put up again below. Now you can watch the entire 35 minute film, called Casey Jones. It’s not bad… a little graphic, but overall not bad. I guess if you’re in the mood to watch someone get bludgeoned to death with a hockey stick, then you’ll really like it. Still, I hope more fans and creatives take a look at this and start creating more fan films.
