Evening Moo: Awesome Geek Art and Other Stuff

Hulk Statue

Hey, I just noticed that this is our 1001st post. Even though I see the stats on here every time I log into WordPress,  I guess I just haven’t been paying that much attention… Congrats and thanks to the other guys who’ve helped post on here, and hopefully we’ll get a thousand more (and maybe one of two of those will be from D20 :D).

Anyhow, I found some nifty stuff to share. This hulk statue above I spotted on my reader earlier (via Geekologie.com). I guess gamma radiation not only causes super strength but super Hemorrhoids as well. Maybe he just needs more fiber in his diet…? The statue located in a mall in Seoul, South Korea… I have to wonder if it’s out in the food court…?

More stuff below.

Red Dwarf Model

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but both Trog and I are huge Red Dwarf fans, hell I still have all the DVD’s I took checked out from the library. Let’s see… I checked them out back in 2006… so the fee would be what? 50¢? Anyhow, both of us are stoked to see the new series when it comes out. Here’s a quick view of the Red Dwarf Model they’re using.

Awesome Princess Bride Wine Bottle Packaging

Princess Bride Wine

Yup, this is a pretty bad ass idea. Alamo Drafthouse is putting out some Princess Bride inspired wine to honor the 25th anniversary of the movie. Looks like the package designs are from an Austin based studio, Helms Workshop. I’m definitely envious.

That, and they’re screening the movie, complete with a Princess Bride-based menu.
