So, here I sit ready to do another post on the greatest of great blogs! Keep in mind; my sitting here now, pounding away on the keyboard to put the newest and shiny-est of the web (in one big lump of internet) for you all – is no small feat! I had a hard fought battle with my comfy couch (…and comfier pillow) to get here! And yea, though the couch did call to me the alluring voice of a siren (tempting to lull me into a nap of epic proportions) I fought to stay awake and do what I knew to be right! An Atomic Moo post! That and Chudd had already taken residence on the couch and not even a bulldozer was moving his fat ass off. So, that brings me back around to the post which tonight will begin with a little bit a news I found on Geek Tyrant, which is…

Billy Connolly Cast in The Hobbit

That’s right folks! According to the article I read; famed Scottish (he’s Scottish right?) comedian, Billy Connolly, has been cast as the dwarf Dain Ironfoot! A quote in the article read:

We could not think of a more fitting actor to play Dain Ironfoot, the staunchest and toughest of Dwarves, than Billy Connolly, the Big Yin himself. With Billy stepping into this role, the cast of The Hobbit is now complete. We can’t wait to see him on the Battlefield!

I was already stoked to see this film but now my stoked-ness is in overdrive. Well done Mr. Jackson! Good form sir, Good form. Just for shits and giggles, and because I love it, check out the Hobbit trailer below. The Hobbit hits theaters December 14th, 2012

New Iron Sky Trailer

Also via Geek Tyrant (Geek Tyrant, I love you – I hate you…), check out the newest trailer for the best film about space Nazis ever made. Okay, it might be the only film about space Nazis, but still… check it out all the same. And yes, I think we can hate space Nazis just as much as terrestrial Nazis. They’ve earned it.

Nothing like a little Zoidberg to Finish…

Groovy. Well, that’s all for now. Good night and good luck folks. You’re going to need it.
