Evening Moo: Hawkey, Geek Art, and Cthulhu

Tails of the Atomic Moo by Sir Noel

It’s almost 2am and I’m still not tired… might as well finish this post. Up until tonight it had been a couple weeks since I last had an energy drink (so I ended up drinking two). Anyhow, I just finished uploading some Atomic Moo work onto DeviantArt.com. I’m hoping that having an account on there specifically for AM will motivate me to start doing more projects for the site, and maybe draw in a few visitors. Above, Sir Noel did a neat piece of Atomic Moo art that you can see on his DA gallery. I’m kind of liking his vision of Eskimo Hooker (that was a gag from—I think—this upcoming Moocast… which Trog assures me will be finished tomorrow).

So, on to the post… Check out this youtube video by an East coast (New York I think) improv group, The People’s Improv Theater (The PIT), of Hawkeye: The Forgotten Avenger. I’m pretty stoked to see the Avengers, but I have to admit it doesn’t make sense to put an archer in with a Norse God, a super soldier and a Hulk (I don’t care how good you are, you’re not ever going to be on the same level).

I guess it’s not the size of the bow, it’s how you use it…. More stuff below.

The Countdown Thing

I can’t remember where I found this, and I have no idea if this is a parody of a real game show over in Britain, but holy shit this was AWESOME!

Dreams in Which I'm Dying Are the Best I've Had by lonefirewarrior

I came across this on DeviantArt, by lonefirewarrior. I’d say he did a pretty kick ass job with it. Check out his gallery for more cool stuff.

Ben Kenobi Desert Nomad

Ben Kenobi Desert Nomad 002 by trev-solo

Another DeviantArt gem, though I first came across this on Geektyrant.com. It was created by Joe Allard and Tom Gilliland, and it’s old Ben Kenobi from somewhere between ROTS and New Hope. More images of this statue in the DA gallery, plus some other awesome stuff.

Okay, that’s it for tonight… or this morning. We’ll see what we can find for tomorrow. Later!

  1. How many pieces of blubber for the whole night?

  2. You put an Eskimo hooker above the fold and expect me not to comment? Have we met?

    • Ohhhhhhhh! I get it now. Sorry, when I first read that I’d just woken up. Brain wasn’t really up to speed then.
