Atomic Moocast #43: Interview with Kara Barrett!

Good evening El Moochadores! It’s been a few weeks but we’re back with a little less money, a few new bruises, and another episode of the Atomic Moocast! On this edition of the Atomic Moocast we talked with independent comic book creator, Kara Barrett! Kara has just finished a successful Kickstarter campaign for her new graphic novel; The Bargain! Check this out:

Twenty years ago Jackson signed his soul away to pay his mother’s gambling debt. Now his bill is coming due on New Year’s Eve. Peddling potions and mojos as a traveling salesman most of his life, Jackson understands a thing or two about magic. But salvation always eludes him. Louisiana is his last hope. Jackson’s hunt for a way to break the devil’s pact leads him to a haunted plantation in search of a crazy hoodoo slave ghost and then to the wild streets of 1955 New Orleans. With the assistance of an alluring creole healer named Lissette, can Jackson find a way to save himself before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve?

Follow the link above back to Kara’s Kickstarter project and check out the niffty benefits you get for donating to her project!

Also on this episode; One of our past Brethren Moo returns! Buttery Wholesomeness is back and joins us for a State of the Moo before this shows interview! Buttery helps us discuss the finer points of 1912, Tarzan, and Kevin Smith!

So this is it El Moochadores! Now is the time to scour your fridge for snacks and cool fizzy sodas, then flop your extra large McButt into a comfy chair, and hit that button that will start the best damn podcast your friends don’t know about!

My name is Buttery Wholesomeness, and I support this message.

  2. Brilliant! That’s classic vaudeville.

You know, guys, I do reviews on my site. You could farm some of that out if it’s getting too much.

    Good job on the Interview.
