  1. So I don’t really get Robotech. It’s about teenagers in the future who fight with big robots and sing, right? Does that make any sense?

    The singing thing is a somewhat odd part of a larger over-reaching plot, bro. See, the Zentradi were a race a space aliens bred exclusively for war (think Clan trueborn warrior caste). So, when they heard japanese pop music, it was very, very distracting.

    This made attacking anything broadcasting j-pop exceedingly difficult.
