The Atomic Moocast #67: Talking Doom’s 20th!

It’s not my fault! Well, it is my fault, kind of. So, we wanted to get a Moocast on weekly from here on out, but week before last we had a series of minor disasters that delayed a recording. Then when we did finally get something recorded, and I was all set and eager to get back on schedule with a weekly Moocast, the internet went out. A cable wasn’t letting the modem do something in its coaxial… or something. Point is, no internet! Until now. Now we’ve got the internet back, a Moocast recorded and ready to go and we should (fingers crossed) be set to get back on schedule. Barring any minor disaster…

On this edition of the Atomic Moocast we’re joined by Ages 25 and Up web comic creator, and gaming guru, Numbers for a discussion about Doom!doom main Not in general, but the game. Doom, the awesome first person shooter from the early 1990’s, that taught all about BFG’s and God Codes, just turned 20 years old and we love nostalgia! So here we go folks! Better late (nine days!) than never! Now’s the time to go scavenge the bottomless depths of your fridge for some crunchy snacks and a cool fizzy soda! Then tumble your way into a comfy chair, where you can safely plug your ear holes with some sort of functional listening device, and hit play on the best damn -no budget- podcast your friends don’t know about!

  1. You guys are so hard-up for guests, but my phone didn’t ring.

Numbers’ opinions are facts. FPS’s have been dull since the 90s.

I put jrmurray into Google and got an obituary. Can’t you permalink your other sites on the front page?

That’s what I forgot! Links to Jason’s stuff. As to why there are no permalinks on the site, well… Jason is kind of weird about that. I’m not sure why he hasn’t but he’s kind of against it. We are not hard up for guests! Okay. Maybe we are, but if we got you on the show too often, then who would listen to it? Huh?
