Our Interview with the Cast of Game Companion!

NEW MOOCAST!!! On this, the 85th, edition of the Atomic Moocast we phoned north of the border and talked with the talented cast of Game Companion! An independently produced short film from Out to Launch Pictures and film maker Brian Morelan. Postcard1Game Companion is a short film about two gamers who unlock the power to pull their favorite fighting vixens out of of the game and into the real world. So far Game Companion has appeared in over 80 film festivals. Many thanks to Gord Bestwick (aka Bob), Julie Townsend (aka: Tyskerud & Kimiko), Sydney Howlett (aka Janey), and Kari Klyne (costume designer and Hikari, for a great interview! Also a special congratulations to Sydney. According to director Brian, she has recently been nominated for a Joey Award. An award meant to recognize young actors in Canada. Very cool and way to go Sydney!

Also on this Atomic Moocast, Numbers is back! That’s right, our Canadian best friend, and fellow Brethren Moo, returns to regale us with his many adventures on the interwebs! Numbers is the creator of the online comic Ages 25 and Up and runs the blog True Game Truths.

  1. If the Star Trek were real, working on the Enterprise would be super-boring. Lots of jerking off while off duty.

    I’m firmly in the Nintendo camp, but Super Smash Bros. makes no sense to me. Lego Star Wars was really fun, though.

    Ah, I remember when Zelda was cutting edge. Huge leap over Clu-Clu Land.

    Teacher’s strike? Lisa, if you don’t like your job you don’t strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That’s the American way.
