Featuring a cool cosplay mini-doc and Speeder Bike Quadcopter!

Good morning El Moochadores! I’m still a little groggy from waking up. It’s weird, but I never feel any better after having slept all night. I always wake up feeling like I’ve been standing on my head all night. I gotta see a doctor. Anyways…

For today’s Morning Moo we got a couple of niffty bits of geek creativity. Check out a great little cosplay documentary below along with a Speeder Bike that actually flies. Well, a little speeder biker. Please don’t sit on it.

The Star Wars Speeder Bike Quadcopter!

Via According to the article by maker Adam Woodworth, he combined the body of 1:6 scale (12 inch) Hasbro Power Of The Force series Speeder Bike with “four 7″ rotors, driven by 880kv 28mm motors.” Which sounds really cool to me but I understand almost none of that. Anywhat, Click the Makezine link above to read more about Adam’s in depth process for creating the flying speeder bike and also check out the youtube video below along with a few sample images.

Cosplay Boom: Portland!

Via Distractotron: There’s this great channel on the Youtube called Cosplay Boom that features episodes on, well, Cosplay. I’ve posted their Portland episode below, but click the link to watch more episodes that feature different events (like Blizzcon), or features on costume makers, models, and prop builders.
