New Kickstarter form David Lucarelli

Hello again, El Moochadores! One of our favorite indie creators has launched a new Kickstarter to fund the third (and final) installment of The Children’s Vampire Hunting Brigade! With only 22 days to go, The Children’s Vampire Hunting Brigade: All Souls’ Day already has a big part of its funding, but they still need a bit more help to get the book made. Written by David Lucarelli and illustrated by Henry Ponciano, All Souls Day is a “130 pages of spine tingling pulse pounding adventure and horror in with shaded black and white art.” Pretty cool quote.

The whole story is about a brigade of secret, Scottish, vampire hunters and their two newest members Gavin and Doug. I’ve posted a proper synopsis below, along with the K.S. promo video, and a few sample pages of the comic. Check it all out and please help this great project become a success!

Cheers!

In 1954 hundreds of school kids descended upon a cemetery in Scotland looking for a vampire. It was considered mass hysteria. In the Brigade series, some of those kids found what they were looking for. A half century later Doug and Gavin are a couple of juvenile delinquents drinking in that cemetery the night the vampires come back, who unwittingly end up becoming the newest members of the Brigade. In All Souls’ Day, the Brigade risk everything in a last desperate attempt to defeat the vampires before it’s too late.
