I’m thinking, these guys need to make a real music video. Still, the Grimace is pretty cool looking. Trog just sent a link of this to me, and I thought it was worthy to post about it here. I hope they do War Pigs… or whatever the McDonald’s parody equivalent is… Check out the video below.

Ha! Thought this was pretty neat. I guess black ice is a bitch no matter what vehicle you’re in.

Funny Bob’s Burger’s Fan Art Mash-ups

Bob's Burger/Disney Princesses by MB Gillett

Seeing the Disney Princesses drawn in the same style as the Blechers gave me a pretty good chuckle today. They were illustrated by MB Gillett, a California based storyboard artist that we met at Comikaze. She also did the Tina/Black Widow drawing below. If you watch the show you’ll get it…Tina has a thing for butts. Anyhow, check out MB’s website, or follow her on twitter (@Silly_Emby). Also, both these images are available for purchase. Email MB (mbgillett91@gmail.com) if you’re interested in buying a print.

Awesome Star Wars vs Aliens Fan Art & Comic

Star Wars vs Aliens by Robert Shane

Here’s something fricken rad that I just came across while browsing my deviantArt watch messages. This awesome UK artist, Robert Shane, illustrated a great looking Star Wars vs Aliens fan comic (links to the pages below). The story is short, six pages, and gets right in to it. It’s beautifully illustrated, and I really liked the surprise at the end to. I gotta say, any Stormtrooper that ask for ID from a snarling gapped-mouth fanged alien deserves to die. Also I’m thinking it would be really cool to see a Deckard (Blade Runner) vs Aliens in the is kind of style… just an idea….

Anyhow, check out the links below, or visit Robert’s gallery for more of his great looking artwork. Later!

Comikaze 2014

Comikaze Logo

Despite feeling somewhat hung over and a little noxious, Trog and I managed to make our way up to L.A. for Comikaze yesterday. Unfortunately we got there kind of late (got lost on the way up—damn GPS). Still, we went! It was great to run into some familiar faces, such as Sir Noel from Destiny Comics, Lia Scott Price, The Winner Twins, and Josh Henaman. We picked up some indie comics that hopefully Trog or I will get around to reviewing soon. Also, we tried to take plenty of pictures as well (which I’ll post a few down below). Got an AWESOME parking spot to! I dunno, that just kind of made the con for me. I’m definitely looking forward to next year. Hopefully we’ll both be in a better situation then that, maybe, we can go all three days. Who knows, it may happen. I am glad to have gone this year though. Every con I get to go to gets me fired up to work on my own projects (like Atomic Moo), so I should probably stop jabbering here and get to work. Later!

Spawn: The Recall—Fan Film

Spawn: Recall—Fan Film

Check out this nifty Spawn fan film, Spawn: The Recall, that we came across last night (can’t remember where though, and I’m too lazy to look it up). It’s by Micheal Paris and here’s a brief synopsis of the film:

SPAWN : THE RECALL is the story of a former witch and her son, who try to live a normal life away from the darkness.
While they’re shopping in a supermarket, the child suddenly disappears.
She starts looking for him, freaked out knowing evil forces are still lurking.
A security guard comes to her help but while they are checking on the surveillance cameras, something happens.
She can sense it, they are here…

Check it out below and let us know what you think!

Awesome Marvel Heroines Fan Art

Spider-Woman Art Gutierrez

Check out these awesome looking Marvel Heroines Fan art by deviantArtist ArTGutierrez (Art Gutierrez). Damn, this guy has got some talent. I’m not sure if these were commissioned pieces or if this is just strait-up—for the love of it—fan art. I’m guessing the latter. I’m thinking that Spider-Woman (above) is my favorite here, but then again I’ve always had a thing for Psylocke… I dunno. It would be nice to pick up a print of these, but hell, even if he was selling them, I’m too broke to get one. Just got paid on Friday and most of my check went to credit card companies and student loans… bastards… Sorry, I’m getting off track… I’ll post a few of the illustrations below, but check out the rest of them here. Later!
