Good damn morning El Moochadores! It’s been a couple of weeks since the last time I was able to sit down and do a post. Two jobs and the Moocast have been keeping me kinda a busy, but good news. I finished a Moocast last night and Chudd is just now at this moment putting it online. Sorry that it is a little late. We recorded the episode about three weeks ago, but better late than never, right? Anywhat, There’s a lot of really cool stuff brimming over the edge of the internet this morning and I scooped up a small bit to show all of you. For example, look up and check out that way niffty (yes I said “niffty” damn you all!) CGI image of Iron Man I found on i09. According to the article it was created by digital artist Victor Hugo (really?) and you can go to his web site and see more of Hugo’s great art.
Hey El Moochadors… it’s been kind of a hectic morning for me, and I’ve got a ton of work to do, so… I’ve gotta make this kind of quick. Why do I bother in the first place? I know that’s what you asking yourself… and when I come up with a really good answer to that, I’ll let you know. Anyhow, check out this nifty animation I came across this morning (via Blastr.com), called Rex Steele: Nazi Smasher. This is actually really awesome, and you should take a look. I love the animation style, and it’s full of great one liners like “That’s American steel plugging their gears!” Anyhow, check it out below. I’ve gotta get organized here and get a plan together. C’ya.
Here’s a new trailer for Iron Sky. If you haven’t heard about it yet, simply put: Space Nazis! I dunno… I’m thinking this is going to be an interesting film. Hell, I’m looking forward to it, and I hope they do a good job. Here’s a synopsis I found on their website:
Frankenstein’s Army is possibly one of the greatest ideas for a film… Ever! Unfucking real that this has never been done before. It just goes together like chocolate and peanut butter, zombies and punk rock, or Republicans and closet homosexuality. There are not many films I’d pay to see now days, but I would gladly hand over a few crumpled bills to see this on the big screen and here’s why…
Toward the end of World War II, Russian soldiers pushing into eastern Germany stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The scientists have used the legendary Frankenstein’s work to assemble an army of supersoldiers stitched together from the body parts of their fallen comrades – a desperate Hitler’s last ghastly ploy to escape defeat.
As far as I’m concerned there are only two missing elements that keep this from being the best movie ever; A fully naked Megan Fox and Kung-fu fight scenes. The film is being made by music video director Richard Raaphorst and is supposed to begin filming in September. Check out the promo trailer for the film below.
Winning! (that’s not fucked out yet, is it?)
