Hey El Moochadores, I just finished a new Atomic Tails! Yeah, kind of weird for a guy in his forties to slopply drawing a comic about mice, but fuck it. I’m having fun and learning a lot in the process. You can read all about this comics strips creation on my offical Atomic Tails blog or Trog’s Blog. heh.
Also, I launched a Patreon for Atomic Tails. I am scary broke right now and I need help paying for the site. Right now there’s only a dollar donation offer (which get’s you our sincerest thanks!) but were working on some improved rewards and offers for anyone interested in helping out.
Look to the right and you’ll see the first Atomic Tails ad too! Both Chudd and I worked on this one, and I kind of dig the results.
I posted the new comic strip below, but also go check out the comics archive to see more comics and my progress in making it. Well, I hope there is progress… On to strip #18!
Atomic Tails #16 is finally posted online! Yeah, Kind of took me a bit, but you can read about the making of the new strip on my Atomic Tails Blog (Trog’s Blog)! That’s right. I’m half-assing two blogs now. What the fuck… Anyways, the real life Chudd (aka: Jason Murray) created the logo that appears in panel three, and I think he did a great job with it. The Ascension of the Golden Yo-Yo’s may rise again. Maybe. I had a lot of fun with this strip and it was a pretty good learning experience. I’m already working on Strip #17, but click here to see all the strips so far! Also, also; help support Atomic Tails by following us on twitter (@AtomicTails) and Instagram (Atomic_Tails).
Yeah, I’m actually (kind of) following through on something. Anyways, check out the continuing adventures of Chudd and Trog in this weeks Atomic Tails! Also, some news about the strip: This last week I started a Facebook page and an Instagram for Atomic Tails. However, I have no idea how to link to the Instagram on here, but until I do, please look me on there and follow the strip! I am not internet savy, but thank you very much to all the people who have followed Atomic Tails just in the last week.
Anyways, I’m setting a goal to get strip 16 done by Saturday… so back to work.
Okay El Moochadores, I just finished another strip for Atomic Tails! Check out #14 and the introduction of Buttery Wholesomeness. Based on the same Buttery Wholesomeness who occasionally helps out with the blog and podcast. The real life Buttery is much more a cartoon character. Anyways, more strips are coming soon.
Okay El Moochadores, it’s now been a week since San Diego Comic Fest 2017, and it was a pretty damn good con! I wanted to post about the convention sooner, but I had a busy work week, and then I got slammed by the con crud! I’m still a big snotty mess. Anywhat, we want to thank the convention organizers and all the attedees for an excellent con experience. Comic Fest was our sixth convention, and first con of 2017, and also a strong reminder of how awesome it feels to make art and have people actually buy it! Also, frigg’n great job on the Kirby Cafe. This years Comic Fest celebrated Kirby’s 100th birthday by decking out a bar/lounge with tons of Kirby art and covers! This was a cool con and we’re looking forward to next years convention, and hopefully a stronger portfolio of work.
Also, thank you very much to all those who signed up for our e-mail list. We’ll keep you updated with new con appearances, new illustration work, and anything else related to Atomic Moo and Murray Brothers Creative!
Anyways, I had to stay at the booth for most of the time were at the con, but here are some photos I pulled from the vastness of the internet to show some of the con happenings. Once again, not our images, but if you do a simple google search for San Diego Comic Fest, you can see where I pulled ’em from.
That’s right El Moochadores, more amazing buttons are now on the Murray Brothers Creative site! Lots and lots of shiny round buttons just waiting for you to order up. Buttons that you can wear, or gift, or maybe just put up on a mantle and admire! Y’know, because buttons are awesome and amazing, and they let you tell the world who you really are! Buttons! So many buttons you could cover your whole body in them! Okay, that’s not true (and that would probably hurt. Our buttons are for pleasure!), but there’s still a lot of ’em and they could be yours to do with what ever you want! We even have a two for one deal going with the special Atomic Moo promo buttons! Buy those two buttons and you’re gonna directly help keep this site going and this site will be here for you forever and ever! All because you bought a button and wore it proudly!!! So, buy ’em up and help Atomic Moo become Atomic Moo and maybe pick up some other cool buttons that’ll make your friends jealous. And you could tell ’em where you got the buttons, but to hell with them! You keep your secret and amazing button buying source to yoursefl, Moochadore. They’re yours! Your precious buttons! Precious!
I’m only sharing this here because we’re a geek creative blog and this is the sort of stuff I like to do. So… I just finished another strip for my web comic, Atomic Tails. In this one Chudd’s bad day goes from bad to worst as he’s evicted from his apartment. I really dug working on this one. Mildred is definitively coming back in future strips and I like working with a limited amount of color. Anyways, check out this strip and the others in the Archives area of the site. I also have a small blog on the AT site where I write about what I learned well making this strip. Hopefully I can get the next one done in another couple weeks!
Hello again El Moochadores! I’ve got a bunch of blog post to get through today, and my computer isn’t exactly cooperating, so let’s start with something really easy…
I finally finished another Atomic Tails strip. Though I’m a little shy about sharing my web comic here (or anywhere) I kind of also think it’s healthier to share this when I finish one. We are a geek creative website after all. Anyways, check out the strip below, and check out past strips through the link above.
Hello El Moochadores! I got my computer working, sort of, so I can start posting again. Well, at least as often as I had been. A few creatives had reached out to me about posting their projects and being on the Moocast and I apologize to them for not putting their projects on the site for the last few days. Anyways, its kind of late, and I had a really long day at work, so I’ll just end this with a couple of videos of waving bears. Because… waving bears.
NEW FRIGG’N MOOCAST FOLKS! Hey El Moochadores, we got a great episode for you this time! For episode #121 we talk about our trip to SLCC 2016 and all the great stuff there. Good con and you can see some of the pictures from our triphere. Then, Jason Lenox is on the show! Lenox is now running Nittany Con in beautiful State College Pennsylvania! Actually, I have no idea what State College Pennsylvania looks like. Green? I don’t know, but they have a comic book convention and that’s awesome! The con is happening Tomorrow from 10am to 5pm and tickets… $5.00! That’s awesome! Kids five and under are free! Serious get out there and check it out! Also, gratz to Lenox for getting all his funding for Lords Of The Cosmos Issue #1 funded on the Kickstater! Good stuff.
So, here we go my fellow slors, shlebbs, and chubbs! Moocasts are rare and precious and you need to enjoy this one! So, go and grab a sugary snack and a bag full of salted whatnots! Then roll your self into a safe and comfortable spot where you can plug in and play the best damn podcast your friends don’t know about!
